The apartments border the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, being closest to Hurricane Canyon Natural Area and Ormes Peak, and are just south of the United States Air Force Academy Airfield. When it comes to the Colorado Springs area, there is never a shortage of things to do. As far as retail goes, look no further. Meet up with a friend for a cup of coffee at Kairos Coffee House or see what’s brewing on tap at Red Leg Brewing Company. The amount of outdoor activities surrounding us is arguably the best part of our location. We are situated between two parks, Mountain Shadows Open Space and Ute Valley Park, both are great for biking, hiking and frolicking in open fields. Kissing Camels Golf Course is just minutes away for those looking to perfect their drive. With unbeatable views of the mountains and forests, hit up this class championship course, or take some personal time at the wellness spa.
For those a little more daring, head into the National Forest and climb Ormes Peak or Mount Manitou. Visit the Manitou Cliff Dwellings to see some of the reconstructed ruins and museum of relics. Head to the North Pole Colorado Santa’s Workshop for rides, magic shows and more to feel like a kid again.
